Gorgeous day here, hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend!

Okay, jello with pineapple was KICKIN’. Sorry, I realize it shouldn’t be such a headline in the world we live in, but it completely rocked. Haven’t had that in ages, and now, it SHALL become a snack staple (for the remainder of this diet, anyhoo).

Cliff Notes summary for today – stuck to plan, LUV jello w/pineapple, and well below budget, so all is well in my frugal dieting world.

Menu for Today:
Breakfast – coffee, two eggs
Cost = .23

Lunch –White albacore tuna & a side of LaSueur carrots (not mushy at all! Yum!).
Cost = .10

Daytime Snack – Fruit punch jello with pineapple! (took a couple of hours to set up this afternoon. Ate half, I’ll probably obliterate it later tonight…maybe I make more TONIGHT so it’s ready tomorrow morning? Whatever…)
Cost = .15

Dinner – Light pasta salad made from 2 oz whole wheat rotelli, with a can of mixed vegetables, some olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil, S&P & some parmesan cheese.
Cost (two cans at .05 each, plus light spices) = .12 (recipe note, I like the version with beans instead of veggies better, but this wasn’t bad…)

Nighttime (blogging) snack – need I even say it? Dagoba, baby!
Cost: .25

Total cost of food for today: $0.85.
